About Me

After 28 years as a registered nurse I decided to add to my skills to help people feel better, so I enrolled in a Therapeutic Massage program.  I want to help you focus on wellness and prevention and will of course, meet you where you are on your health journey. 

It took me several massage therapists and many years to find a massage therapist who would do what I asked for: an hour long whole body massage with extra time on my upper back, shoulders and neck.  Until I found MY therapist, I was told, "Yes, I can do that" and then I'd get the regular massage everyone else got.  

In case you missed this on my home page, here it is again:  I want to help you feel your best!  I will work those spots you need worked if that's what you need.  I will give you a completely relaxing massage, if that's what you want or need.   I can combine the two, if that's what you need.  If you have a complicated issue that may take several sessions, I will develop a plan with you to get you back to your best.  This is YOUR MASSAGE, not mine.  

I am trained in Swedish, Therapeutic and Deep Tissue massage.  I graduated from Ivy Tech's Therapeutic Massage program in 2019 and am licensed in the state of Indiana to practice massage therapy.  The state of Indiana requires at least 625 hours of supervised massage training, a criminal background check and passing a national therapeutic massage exam.  I passed the MBLEx (Massage and Bodywork Licensing Exam) in January 2020. I am a member of the AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association).
